Harry Potter release date and Enviromentalist issues

Regarding Miguel's comments I acquired the information on the Harry Potter book 7 release date from Mugglenet, and here I leave the copy-paste:

She’s not going to do a rush-job just so we can get our 7/7/07 release or so the businesses behind Potterdom can earn big bucks more quickly. They are certainly significant factors and she isn’t going to ignore them – she knows we’re absolutely ravenous for the next book – but what’s important to her right now is the quality of the book, not the speed at which it’s produced."
So.... we still don't know when it will come out, but I sure except one hell of a book :D

Second good news:
Portuguese Health minister wishes to stop penalising the Abortion.
It's a step forward into halting a social injustice for when a woman makes a dificult choice in her life and not only risks her health, but also stays 3 years in prison.
Not that I am a fan of the abortion act, that would simply be stupid, but I consider the drug-addict that steals my car radio and robs people on the street with a needle far more dangerous and should be in jail, than the stupid teenager (or prostitute) that gets pregnant.

Third good news:
Gore says tax pollution, not payrolls.
Simply putting it: "Penalizing pollution instead of penalizing employment will work to reduce that pollution. ... Instead of discouraging businesses from hiring more employees it would discourage business from producing more pollution," Gore said.
A sensitive man in the american politics.... I wonder why the bush-monkey is still there...
But still regarding this enviromentalist issue, we all know that the current capitalist market gives more importance into costs and benefits than to environmental effort, need or social fabric.
But things won't stay like this forever. With measures like the one suggested by Al Gore where to be taken by most contries, the result would be obvious.
I recently read 2 books connected to this issue, the first is a science-fiction book (which I am a big fan of the gender) called "Red Mars".
In this book Kim Robinson describes a very plausible Mars colonization, with all the scientific, social and environmental difficulties. One of the characters, Arkady a loving Russian-madman describes the necessity of seperating the now "Martian" population from the Earth one, specially in the political and social spectrum. Not only to survive in a harsh environment, the terraforming efforts produce ways of evaluting the necessities of the group, and the bigger the need the higher the value, creating a economy based not in supply and demand, but on effort and necessity. Very inspiring stuff...
But speaking of inspiring stuff heres another one that really deserves an applause:
"80 hommes pour changer le monde" Or translated in English: 80 man to change the world.

Simply putted... this amazing book explains how 80 man (they had more, but had to make a selection for editing reasons) managed to create sustainable bussiness that challenge todays profit vision, with social responsibility and respect for the environment.
Not only is it motivating and inspiring, it also opens your eyes in to new ways to make business or simply make a living. Really a must for any management student and grown-up.
