Trip to Norway!
Ok; after such a nice vacation in the south of Europe, my parents came for a week, and we stayed around Heidelberg. Went to some nice places and I leave here just one photo, it was taken in Karlsruhe during a popular fest.
Afterwards me and Inês set off to Norway, the fjord land :D
Just like the last post I leave first of all a map of the places we visited:
We arrived in Torp-Sandefjord, 100km away from Oslo, and took a bus to meet our friends.
One the first day we toured around the Capital of Norway, Oslo. Here are some of the nice things we saw:

From the first picture forward: Oslo's city hall; The following pictures where taken in Vigelandsparken, this statue park, with naked people took the sculptor Gustav Vigeland 40 years of his life to finish it. It represents the human life cycle, with all the facts, emotion and time in one's life. Special is the fountain (picture 4 - Hanne and Inês), which has engraved this cycle around it cronologically. You have birth, growing up, marriage, fighting, old age, death...
The sixth photo is obviously me and Inês, and the seagul picture was taken in the Oslo Bygdoy harbour.
Later we took a train to Bergen. The second largest city in Norway, right across the country.
A wonderful place which is best described by the photos I leave here than by the lame words I can produce.

The first picture is naturally Bergen seen from the mountains; In these mountains we can always find the Norwegian Trolls, here is one posing with me for the picture; The sunset is beautiful in Bergen, sadly low clouds stopped me from getting more of that golden colour. The Hakon's Hall in the last picture was the first Scandinavian Medieval party Saloon, Inês stands in middle of the hall.
Another attraction of Bergen is the Aquarium, we do advice you to "meet the locals". The following pictures were taken there:

After two days we took the train again to Flåm. There this small village is surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys, it is a paradise for everyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with nature in the norwegian Fjords. There we took a touring boat to Gudvangen. Again.... there is no description possible. It's all dazzling, see for your self:

Gudvangen is an old Viking town, therefore the boat and the statue. Unfortunately the weather was cold and cloudy, so the pictures are not at their maximum.
Now the time has come to return to the beautiful city of Oslo, where we had lots of fun, and the birthday of Hanne :D
Sadly the next day we had to leave...
My vacation still ended with a golden key by going to the Caracalla Thermal baths with Inês. :D
And now I leave to work and justify my good fortune :)

Não te preocupes cara Sabrina que Copenhaga não se livra facilmente de mim. :D Para o ano que vem ainda tenho que planear as minhas férias, e naturalmente és sempre bem-vinda cá a Heidelberg ;)
