Good news and funny pictures

I guess most of the news title's are perfectly clear and are enough to open and read a little more, but I'll leave small comments anyway.

"Riding the wave of renewable energy"
It is in Portugal! Agouçadoura. I am a little sceptic about the efficiency of the power plant, but if one would be able to substitute half a fossil fuel plant, it would be fantastic.

So that it is clear, my stand on the abortion issue is: Altought I don't think the "abortion act" is a good thing (you would have to be as insensitive as a brick to think so), it is a stupid nonsense to send women that have performed it to jail for 3 years.
"Portugal's MPs vote for referendum on legalising abortion"
"Portuguese women face three years prison for abortion"
"Aborto: "Sim" com vantagem mais estreita do que em 2004"

Portuguese news.... High speed train between Porto and Vigo, iupi!
"Ligação TGV entre Porto e Vigo vai ser antecipada"

90% of e-mail traffic is spam, accounting to 40% of all internet traffic. Confess... you are also shaken by this "evil" and you want to kill the guy who's filling your mailbox. But now you can be sure that some measures are being taken...
"Ex-AOL employee pleads guilty in spam case"
"Bad netiquette ties up netizens in chains"

This is a cool one, invisibility cloak... a japanese team created in 2003 something similar, as we see on the picture, but now U.S. and British researchers have announced their own method of making an object partially invisible.

And now for some humor, because laughting is the worlds best medicine.

P.S. I have been to Russia, and it's much nicer than what that picture shows; The independent cover is no joke, but reality sometimes excedes fiction; Hurrah for wireless networks ;)
