Sunday Bloody Sunday

Everyone knows the U2 song about the bloody sunday in Ireland, but a little all over the world there are similar stupid conflicts.

The point of this video I guess that the author was refering to the most recent conflict in Libano from Israel, although I can say that I blame the Israelis for this situation, I sure blame the idiotic position of Hezbollah. (Please don't kill me for speaking my mind)
Although Mr Bush, AKA Mr war 'is a friend' is responsible for major conflicts, there are still more stupid people around.... check http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/aprilfool/

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain. We have just landed at . . . er, the wrong airport

Ryanair pioneered the art of flying passengers to far-flung airfields across Europe.
So it should have come as no surprise yesterday to travellers on board Flight 9884 from Liverpool to City of Derry when they landed five miles away in Ballykelly Camp army airfield.
Ryanair passengers are also accustomed to not having an air-bridge to get them inside the terminal, but in this case they didn't even have any steps to get them off the jet.
Luckily, the flight's original destination was close enough for ground-staff to bring the steps by road to the army base.

The Civil Aviation Authority began an investigation into how the Airbus carrying 39 passengers and six crew landed at the virtually disused based known as Shackleton Barracks.
At first the passengers on board Flight FR9884 thought the pilot was joking when he told them he had landed in the wrong airport, but when they looked outside and saw their plane surrounded by British soldiers, they knew something was wrong.
Last night, Ryanair officials admitted the pilot flying the airliner on behalf of the firm had made a mistake.

Damm it... and the day after tomorrow my girlfriend will take a Ryanair flight...
But I'm still a fan of the low cost companies, namely Ryanair.

There are really stupid people....

Museum of Hoaxes
When we think that there are stupid people around, you can confirm it here.
This site let's you in some of the funniest pranks that some "belivers" actually fall for it... let's see:
"#7: Alabama Changes the Value of Pi
The April 1998 issue of the New Mexicans for Science and Reason newsletter contained an article claiming that the Alabama state legislature had voted to change the value of the mathematical constant pi from 3.14159 to the 'Biblical value' of 3.0. Before long the article had made its way onto the internet, and then it rapidly made its way around the world, forwarded by people in their email. It only became apparent how far the article had spread when the Alabama legislature began receiving hundreds of calls from people protesting the legislation. The original article, which was intended as a parody of legislative attempts to circumscribe the teaching of evolution, was written by a physicist named Mark Boslough."

I wonder why we always want to seperate religion from politics?

"
#10: Planetary Alignment Decreases Gravity

In 1976 the British astronomer Patrick Moore announced on BBC Radio 2 that at 9:47 AM a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event was going to occur that listeners could experience in their very own homes. The planet Pluto would pass behind Jupiter, temporarily causing a gravitational alignment that would counteract and lessen the Earth's own gravity. Moore told his listeners that if they jumped in the air at the exact moment that this planetary alignment occurred, they would experience a strange floating sensation. When 9:47 AM arrived, BBC2 began to receive hundreds of phone calls from listeners claiming to have felt the sensation. One woman even reported that she and her eleven friends had risen from their chairs and floated around the room."

So much faith my people..... no comments
